You may not know it, but I've had a vision of Paul and I cruising the Caribbean for a long time, for about 4 years and also a vision of sharing experiences like that with people we know, respect and grow to love and who understand us and why we want and live the life we do - we're different to many people we used to know (and we're glad for that) but as you move away from the Norm, you find fewer people that you can relate to, although that number is growing, it's still not easy to make genuine friends with people that also share the same vision, ideals and lifestyle as us.
Being with people we love and sharing places we love is the kind of a holiday we consider PERFECT - we can and do have our own space and time but we also have a community of people around us to 'party' and have fun with ... in fact I have a motto for these Cruises - "If You're NOT Fun, Dont Come!" These are our requirements for any dream holiday and many of friends have the same criteria plus these important considerations for our families:
1. Loads for the kids to do (suiting both a 10 year old and a 13 year old going on 16.) 2. Loads of stuff for me to do / learn - I get bored lying by a pool or on a beach all day 3. Space for us all to get away from each other 4. Lots of sun and fabulous places to visit 5. All inclusive - no cooking or cleaning 6. No driving 7. Great nightlife
